About TorontoAI
TorontoAI is a growing community of AI enthusiasts, developers, and professionals who come together for bi-weekly socials, events, and knowledge-sharing sessions. We host meetups, webinars, and workshops to connect people passionate about AI, Cloud, and Developer ecosystems.
We are looking for a motivated intern to join us and support content creation and event organization for the TorontoAI community.
Responsibilities
Content Creation
Research and create engaging content (blogs, LinkedIn posts, newsletters, community updates).
Assist in producing video clips, short recordings, and social snippets from events.
Draft summaries, event recaps, and highlight reels for community engagement.
Help with basic graphics, visuals, or infographics (Canva/Figma).
Event Organization
Support planning and execution of TorontoAI meetups, webinars, and socials.
Coordinate with speakers, panelists, and sponsors for smooth event logistics.
Help with event promotion across LinkedIn, Meetup.com, Eventbrite, and social channels.
Engage with community members before, during, and after events (both online and offline).
Requirements
Strong interest in AI, Cloud, and Developer communities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter/X, YouTube, Meetup).
Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
Comfortable with tools like Google Docs, Canva, Figma, or basic video editing tools.
Nice to Have:
Prior experience with event coordination, student clubs, or online communities.
Knowledge of AI/tech space (bonus points if you can simplify complex concepts for a wider audience).
Creative mindset with an eye for engaging content.
